It's been week 1 of preseason and while the training has been beating my body to a pulp (in a good way I guess?), my social life has been kinda thriving if I do say so myself. I’ve met some cool people and tried some new things so it’s safe to say I prefer my off-court life way more than my on-court right now. You may or may not be interested in what I do during my down time, but I thought it would be fun to share a lil. If you don’t care, just ignore this lol
Hung out and fed kangaroos in Australia. Seriously how cute???
Did painting competitions with my coach… but were they even competitive?
Baked and cooked a lot
Signed up for a tournament thinking it was on clay, and didn’t realize it was actually on hard until I got there… I know this is tennis related but the professionalism was off the charts
Sorry but I had to… don’t hate me #didyouknowiwasinvanityfair
Slipped and fell in the shower and look how pretty my bruise was
And last but certainly not least, starting this blog has been so fun, exciting, and challenging, and definitely one of the biggest highlights of this year.
That was a fun walk down memory lane. Can’t wait for next year’s shenanigans. If you have any topic suggestions let me know! ⍗
Like your writing style. Fun to read. Two future topics suggestion: how was your junior tennis experience? What are some of the training days like and memorable moments on the court? 2: A series of how to play tennis. What are some tips you learn along the way on forehand ( serve, backhand…) that helps you. I’m asking for my daughter who’s 11. 😊👍🎾
Those paintings are legit. Like, really legit. You probably know that already. Anyway, save me some baked goods haha. Where do you mostly train?
